Ukrainiana nativea speaker for the creation of educational content

We are looking for Ukrainian educational content creators for the Movapp project. Do you want to help Ukrainian refugees to cope with situations in Czech environment and learn Czech?

📈 Movapp has reached tens of thousands of users in one year. It has helped them from the first weeks of their stay in the Czech Republic with basic communication in Czech. And it helps them to continue living in the Czech environment and learning our language.

🔎 We are looking for bilingual enthusiasts to help with the creation of teaching texts, translation into Ukrainian and proofreading of language content in Ukrainian. You will work with English speakers creating instructional content and translating it into Ukrainian.

✍️ You will translate practical words and phrases from English into Ukrainian on a range of topics (from visiting the doctor, to conversing on the street, to understanding history at school). You'll work with Czech language experts to create Czech content for our electronic dictionary and learning app. We'll teach you how to work with voice synthesis (text-to-speech) to make Ukrainian words and sentences sound beautiful.

📚 We have prepared several hundred useful words sent to us by Czech teachers. Your first task will be to translate them into Ukrainian.

👉 If you are a native Ukrainian speaker with knowledge of Czech (ideally A2 or better) and a desire to help Ukrainians with Czech, we are looking for you! This is also suitable for those who are still learning Czech. You will definitely improve your Czech while working in our team.

👉 Czech students of Ukrainian studies can also apply for the position if they have Ukrainian at least at B2 level.

We would be happy to welcome someone for long-term cooperation (for us it means at least 2 months), even just for a few hours a week.
