The first steps of a developer: How to work with Git so it doesn't give you a headache

Explore Git, an indispensable part of every developer's toolkit.

What will the webinar be about?

Join our next webinar to learn how the Git development tool works. How to version your work or how to share those versions. Petr Švarný, who you may have met on the GitHub webinar, will help you with the first steps. The webinar follows the introduction to GitHub, but you can jump right in.

What can you look forward to?

It's quite common practice in development to experiment. That's why it's also common to break something. But that's not a problem if you can simply get back to a state where everything was functional. In short, you'll learn how to work with Git so it doesn't give you a headache.

Who will lead the webinar?

The most knowledgeable person can explain how Git works and what it's good for. Petr Švarný is a PhD student at the Department of Cybernetics at the FEL CTU, a long-time lecturer at the FF UK and last but not least an automator.

Where to arrive?

You can also meet Peter online via the link we will send you in your email after registration. Put 12 July 2022 at 18:00 in your calendar.

You can find edited recordings of these events in our video library or on our YouTube channel. If you don't want to miss new videos, don't forget to subscribe!
