You will learn this and much more at the brand new offline content training designed for the volunteer content team Česko.Digital (and for those interested in joining the content team), where you can meet like-minded people like you and enjoy a great atmosphere with some refreshments. ✍️

❗ Don't hesitate, we have only 15 places available.
If there's no room for you, don't despair. We are planning the same training in Prague, and if it is successful, then again in Brno and Prague.

What can you look forward to?

The training will be conducted SPECIALLY for the launch of the first Copy Day by 2 lecturers (more about them in the section below).

He'll explain:

  • why copywriting is not just about writing and what other activities are involved,
  • why it is important to get a quality assignment,
  • what basic tips to follow when writing,
  • why it is good to listen to the target group,
  • why not doubt yourself if you're new to copywriting,
  • how to work with tonality, checklists and Content Guide Česko.Digital,
  • and a lot more...

At the same time , you will have the opportunity to write your own text on a topic of your choice (at least related to Česko.Digital), to which you will be continuously given feedback by the lecturers on site.

Also, if you have a problem with a text, a client or something else in copywriting (at work or freelance), the lecturers will be fully available for personal consultations throughout the practical part.

After a job well done, we can go to a pub for a good meal and a beer or soda. 🍺🍕🍹

The training is of course free of charge.

What exactly is going to happen?

09:00 - 09:30: Introduction, introduction of the training and getting to know each other
09:30 - 11:30: Presentation on copywriting (10 minutes break)
11:30 - 12:30: Lunch
12:30 - 17:30: Writing articles/texts + feedback + individual consultation
17:30 - 18:00: Presentation of results + closing of the program
18:00 - ∞: Beer? 😁

Who will lead the training?

Terézia Palaščáková
Content Lead Česko.Digital, freelance copywriter

Terka has always been drawn to writing, even in elementary school she enjoyed making up stories on various topics. She won 2nd place in a competition with one of them and even had another one published as a book in the short story collection Keavad. In high school, she then earned occasional income by writing articles, but fully immersed herself in the world of marketing and copywriting in 2019. She worked her way through a marketing agency and various internships until she realized in April 2020 that the freedom and benefits of a free foot suited her.

For more than 2 years she has been working as a freelance copywriter, writing for brands such as Dom farieb, Mapei, Vyvolej.to, Answear, Lego, Alltoys or Switchio, and has worked with agencies such as H1.cz, Better or Vortum.

In August 2021, she also became the Content Lead Česko.Digital, making her responsible for the organization's content and volunteer content team after a year and a half of volunteering in the community.

In her free time she likes to play games on the computer or console (mainly strategy), read books (mainly fantasy), listen to Muse or Imagine Dragons, cook or get on everyone's nerves with her endless chattiness. 😁

Barbora Truksová
Copywriter & idea maker

She studied Finnish and Swedish, but a series of fortunate and less fortunate events eventually led her to copywriting. She has always enjoyed writing. As a child, she started on poems for birthday cards, and later produced several short stories so profound that they sometimes reached rock bottom. This was recognised at several literary competitions with a silver medal and a bookstore voucher, subtly suggesting that a little inspiration would be good.

His first copywriting experience is with Logos Agency. But she worked her way up to marketing and advertising from dealing with jammed papers in the printer, watering flowers and brewing coffee from a capsule in a small agency after high school. That's when she started to realize that this was it, and it wasn't four years before she knew for sure.

2020-2021 she helped out as a volunteer copywriter and content coordinator at Česko.Digital. Then she was at Ogilvy for 9 months, where she touched flyers, newsletters, POS materials, radio, TV, print and the bottom line. Now she's been at SYMBIO agency for less than a year, where she's added digital.

She has worked for brands such as Tesco CE, LEGO, Whirlpool, Beskyles, CineStar, PPL, Ernst & Young, ČEZ, Ria and others. In 2021 she won 3rd place from the Print category at Young Lions, and this year Honorable Mention from the Media category. She also sat on the jury of this year's Golden Pen copywriting competition organised by the Creative Copywriters Club.

Jana Bret Kneschke
Creative Director at Vortum, senior copywriter, editor, mentor

_Jana will not be able to attend due to health reasons, but she added her thoughts to the presentation, which will be translated by the remaining lecturers. _😊

She studied philosophy, history and journalism. Since 2005 she has been working in advertising as a copywriter and later as a creative director. She draws her experience from working for agencies and freelance clients. She helped found and managed content portals for brands such as ČEZ, ČSOB and Heureka, and for several years managed the editorial team of the cultural magazine Kulturní Pecka, now Artikl.

As one of the first members of the Česko.Digital tribal team, she set up and iterated processes for communication and content creation in the community of expert volunteers, which grew from a few hundred to several thousand members during her tenure.

As a copywriter and transcreator, she has worked for most automotive brands and for Makro, Tesco, P&G, Ahold, Jihlavanka, McDonald's, Dáme jídlo, Gambrinus, Starobrno, Bohemia Sekt, Fernet Stock, ČMSS, Wüstenrot, ČSOB, Česká spořitelna, Benzina, Shell, T-Mobile, Vodafone, O2, for many brands of Unilever, Mondelēz, Reckitt Beckinser, Estée Lauder and other Czech and foreign brands.

In 2017, she founded Vortum, an association of professionals, with the goal of creating a dignified and welcoming space for the creation of quality content.
